Energy company E.ON has unveiled an overhaul of its websites via a single platform, with the aim of promoting transparency.

Handled by E.ON’s in-house team in collaboration with LBi, consumer focus groups and research with stakeholders took place before the changes were made, to better understand the key issues and requirements around E.ON’s web presence.

Pardeep Duggal, head of digital at E.ON, said: “The new online brand experience we’ve created in partnership with LBi is a big step forward in our mission to make a real difference to our customers’ lives. We’re really pleased to be launching something which makes it easier for people to manage their account and understand more about E.ON as a company.”

The new site, which is aimed at both residential and business customers, aims to make it easier for customers to manage their accounts, whilst also providing broader information about E.ON as a business and its sustainability initiatives.

Simon Gill, executive creative director at LBi, said: “At times, the world of energy can seem complex and hard to navigate. We collaborated with E.ON to create a new digital experience which explains and demystifies the bigger issues of sustainability as well as making day-to-day management of your energy account simpler. This new web platform paves the way for us to introduce more ways to make things better for E.ON customers.”
