To support Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) sponsorship of Manchester Pride 2012 Publicis London has created an integrated campaign for the banking group.

Alongside MediaCom, Publicis has created a float for RBS to enter into the parade in keeping with this years ‘Queer’d Science’ theme. The agencies have also created an official 2012 Manchester Pride app for iPhone and Android devices, as part of RBS’ sponsorship of the festival which runs from Friday 17 to Monday 27 August.

RBS is also running a competition to part of their ‘Periodic Table’ themed float in the Pride Parade, also included in the app is a ‘Dress Up’ photographic feature which gives people the opportunity to see how they would look as one of the elements within the Periodic Table.

Other features of the app include site information, event and club information and the weekend’s entertainment schedule. RBS is supporting activity ahead of, during and after the event with press and advertising people invited to win VIP tickets, a presence on the official website, and a bespoke Pride landing page on its recruitment site.
