Best Western unveils five month sponsorship of Dave

Hotel brand Best Western has announced a five month deal with Dave to sponsor the characters of its comedy and lifestyle shows.

Featuring 10 second idents created by The Sharp Agency, the sponsorship deal aims to bring the personalities of the hotel to life before programmes such as Mock the Week, Man versus Food and QI.

Tim Wade, marketing director of Best Western, said: “Sponsoring characters on Dave is a great move for Best Western. The audience profiles of the station fits perfectly with our customer profile and allows us to communicate our Hotels with Personality mantra through a fun, long term and high profile deal.”

The idents will feature a selection of the hotels and the staff working in them telling the stories from the hotel, including Gerry Whitehouse, the bird of prey manager at the Best Western Beamish Hall Hotel; John Taylor, Head Brewer at the Best Western Beamish Hall Hotel; mother and daughter Jean and Angela Dobbie, breakfast supervisor and receptionist at the Best Western Plus Bruntsfield Hotel; and chef John Fleming and barman Scott Morrison both from the Best Western Cartland Bridge Hotel.
