Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak set to speak at Edinburgh tech festival

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is to be the headline speaker at an upcoming technology festival being held in Edinburgh.

Wozniak, who co-founded Apple Computer in 1976 alongside Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne, will discuss his life at Apple, his views on entrepreneurism, and the future of computing and the web at The Turning Festival at the end of this month.

Also speaking will be representatives of National Geographic Explorers and Raspberry Pi, as well as Security Engineering author Ross Anderson.

The three-day festival will take place between 23-25 August at various venues across Edinburgh.

Dr Jamie Coleman, director of the Turing Festival, commented: "Edinburgh in August is where the cream of the world's creative community come together in the largest cultural festival on the planet. The Turing Festival brings the global digital community to the heart of this event in a celebration of computing and the web"
