Unilever has announced the appointment of Sarah Mansfield as new media director for UK & Ireland, replacing Rachel Bristow who is on maternity leave

Mansfield joins from Barclays where she spent the last two years as Head of Communications and Media Planning at Barclaycard.

Her main priorities will be to maintain Unilever’s expert standing in media and to continue to pioneer, particularly in the realm of digital marketing.

She said: “It is a privilege to join Unilever – a company which, with its sustainable growth agenda, is not only a great brand in itself but comprises so many fantastic household names within its portfolio which means that the challenges and opportunities in media are almost endless,” said Sarah.

“Unilever’s reputation for keeping heritage brands completely relevant with creative marketing campaigns is well-known and I’m very much looking forward to supporting these brands in future months and years.”
