Transport for London (TfL) has this week launched an email campaign with eCircle, with the aim of providing commuters with details on what lines may be affected by the Olympics on a daily basis.

The emails have been designed to display on all portable mobile devices, and will be sent out daily to both Oyster card holders and congestion fee payers, with information about their most frequented stations as well as details of particular events which may complicate their regular travel plans.

A text based email solution was created to help the page load quickly, so travelers can check it while on the move or at a WiFi enabled station, and can share it via Twitter or Facebook.

Simon Bowker, managing director at eCircle UK, said: “Relevant information which is targeted at customers is the key to this campaign. Our innovative email technology, expertise and experience means we have created a delivery system which will send two bespoke, mobile compatible, fast-loading emails each day to Oyster card users and congestion fee payers so they can get a head of the Games.”
