BBC and IOC reach agreement on overseas radio broadcasting
The BBC has come to an agreement with the International Olympic Committee over international streaming of some radio shows, following programmes being unavailable to overseas listeners on Friday.
The IOC, which owns broadcast rights from Olympic venues, will now allow access to some shows, including Radio Two's breakfast programme.
Programmes with a wide news agenda will be able to be streamed internationally on the internet of through iPlayer, although those which consist of a lot of Olympics content will be blocked, as there are not sufficient resources to edit them.
