Independent journalist Guy Adams has account suspended over NBC Olympics tweets, colleagues claim
The Independent’s Los Angeles correspondent Guy Adams has had his Twitter account suspended over comments made regarding the NBC’s coverage of the Olympics, it has been alleged.
According to his colleagues on Twitter, the account was suspended after NBC complained.
Reporter Kevin Rawlinson tweeted: ‘My colleague @guyadams' Twitter account was suspended after @NBC complained about his tweets criticising the network's #Olympics coverage’.
Deputy editor Archie Bland added: ‘.@guyadams will have piece on heavy-handed suspension of acct up soon. For clarity's sake, came after he mentioned NBC bod's email address.’
