The Drum has announced the appointment of Anne-Marie Sheedy as its new head of conferences.
Sheedy joins The Drum from Brand Republic where she was head of business development for conferences.
Speaking of her new role Sheedy said she was “thrilled to be joining The Drum at such and exciting time in its development,” she added: “Their creativity, passion and ambition for success is infectious”.
Gordon Young, publisher of The Drum commented: “We’d been searching for some time for the right person to head up the development of The Drum’s conferences and seminars business.
