Roberts Bakery and Dr. Martens have both appointed Mason Williams Communications to handle PR and Communications for their latest projects.

Roberts Bakery has asked Mason Williams to execute its first external PR push celebrating the bakery’s 125th anniversary. The Roberts Bakery ‘Summer of Fun’ aims to engage existing customers as well as drive sales amongst new ones. The ‘Summer of Fun’ sees Roberts Bakery giving away 125 prizes both in-pack and via social media, with Mason Williams PR and digital teams working across the campaign.

Rebecca Barnes, account director at Mason Williams, commented: “Robert’s Bakery is a wonderful brand, built by a well-known local family company. The fact that it is 125 years old is testament to its quality and the loyalty of its customer base. We are extremely proud to be part of this celebration.”

Dr. Martens has also enlisted the help of the agency to launch its Manchester store in the city’s Market Street this August. Dr. Martens launch sees Mason Williams working on a launch party and building the brands ambassador programme across the North West.
