Sundog Pictures has been appointed to create a television show following the participants in Virgin Media Pioneer’s The Project.

The Project sees 100 unemployed young people from across the UK receive paid training in the creative industries, with ten to be chosen to plan and stage a festival at London’s Royal Opera House.

Sam Branson, founder and Chairman of Sundog Pictures, commented: “Virgin Media Pioneers has created this amazing opportunity which is going to give so many young people a fighting start in what is a tough industry to get into. Our cameras will follow their personal stories as they develop every step of the way, so we’re delighted to be involved in this ambitious initiative. We hope the series will inspire others and showcase the creative force of enterprising people in the UK.”

The series will be shown online later this year, as well as being available on Virgin media’s on demand service.
