Scotland’s Colleges, the organisation that promotes the further education sector, has appointed Pagoda Public Relations following a four way pitch.

The agency was appointed to provide public relations and public affairs support.

John Macgill, director at Pagoda Public Relations, said: “We’ll be working with Scotland’s Colleges to promote and protect the college sector during a period of intense change and innovation. We’re looking forward to working with Scotland’s Colleges to highlight the central role of colleges in supporting people to gain the skills they need for employment, and to celebrate how they are enhancing communities across the country and the Scottish economy.”

John Henderson, chief executive of Scotland’s Colleges, added: “As an organisation, we are undergoing a period of transition and structural change so we can better match the needs and expectations of our members. Pagoda understands the challenges that we and our members face, from regionalisation to funding, and we’re confident that ours will be a highly effective partnership.”
