Truro City Council has unveiled an 84 page A5 guide to the city, created by marketing and design agency MPAD.

The Truro City Guide, which features a specially commissioned painting by Cornish artist John Dyer on the cover, contains information on the city and 200 local businesses.

Sam White, marketing consultant for MPAD, said: “We were so excited to have the chance to refresh the City Guide. It allowed us to get our thinking caps on to come up with something that was innovative and appealing to both locals and visitors.”

Roger Gazzard, town clerk at Truro City Council, added: “The production of the Guide has enabled the Council to provide a first class marketing tool for Truro without incurring any costs for the rate payer. It is a great demonstration of the benefits of a public/private sector partnership.”
