Liquid Agency Europe’s marketing campaign for St Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport has significantly contributed to the airports placing as the overall winner in the 2012 Routes Airport CIS Marketing Awards.
The campaign, which involved a series of animated website banner adverts, was submitted as a key part of the airports overall marketing achievements.
Liquid’s campaign intended to attract major international airlines to fly in and out of Pulkovo Airport by highlighting the many competitive aspects of the airports location.
St Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport operations manager, Anzhelika Kokina, said: “We enjoyed working with Liquid, it was really light-hearted and professional too – and the results are delightful.”
The bright and colourful campaign comprises of birds tweeting, ballerinas dancing and women chatting to create conversations where everyone is talking about St Petersburg.
The campaign will now be rolled out across multiple channels over the course of the year.
