Tangerine Confectionery’s Highland Toffee brand is set to relaunch, following a packaging makeover by The Brand Nursery.

The range will include the original bars, as well as pre-packed bags of individually wrapped toffees and Bon Bons.

Helen Hartley, group marketing manager at Tangerine Confectionery, said: “We’ve refreshed the brand proposition so we can continue to sell out across the homeland of Scotland but also across the borders covering the wider UK markets.

"We’ve got big ambitions to improve Highland Toffee’s overall commercial position, by improving the quality of the product and the range but retaining everything that the brand stands for.

“We know that it’s a traditional product which so many are fond of and we’re delighted to be bringing it back to the legion of Highland Toffee loyalists, as well as introducing it to some new fans.”

Chris Blythe, director of The Brand Nursery, added: “We developed a fresher, modern look for the Highland Toffee brand which is sympathetic to the product’s rich history and traditional values. Our design ensures the brand’s heritage, along with existing consumers, has not been not lost and appeal is maintained amongst all the new kids on the block.

"The newly developed range offers a united brand offering and should help to build brand awareness through various retail channels. Highland Toffee has been a favourite for many years and we’re confident that the new designs will be well-received by old and new fans alike."
