The Food Network has announced that it will expand on Freeview, starting from 20 July, as it marks its one year anniversary on the platform.

Changing from broadcasting for four hours to broadcasting all day, this will mean more originally commissioned UK programming such as Andy Bates Street Feasts and Reza, Spice Prince of India.

Nick Thorogood, managing director of Food Network Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said: "Today's news is a testament to the quality of our programming and Food Network UK's popularity and reputation amongst viewers. By extending our hours on this platform, all Freeview households will now be able to enjoy our great food entertainment all day, every day."
