VCCP appointed for launch of Land Securities 'Trinity Leeds' development

Property company Land Securities has appointed VCCP to represent its Trinity Leeds retail and leisure destination following a pitch facilitated by the AAR against Saatchi&Saatchi, Albion and Mcgarrybowen.

VCCP wins Land Securities launch for Trinity Leeds

Currently under construction in Leeds city centre Land Securities £350 million development will launch in spring 2013. Set to be the biggest shopping centre launch since 2011, and the only major launch of 2013, Trinity Leeds will comprise of more than 120 retailers and restaurants and will make Leeds the fourth retail destination in the UK, three places above its current seventh place ranking.

Catherine Thomas, head of marketing at Land Securities said the forthcoming launch was “huge and unique for us [Land Securities] and for the city of Leeds”.

She continued: “VCCP clearly understood what makes Trinity Leeds unlike any existing retail space, and they blew us away with the scale and freshness of their ideas,”

Business director for VCCP, Oliver Lewis-Barclay, added: “We’re delighted to have won the chance to grow our relationship with Land Securities, especially as Trinity Leeds is going to be such a high profile launch and destination.”
