The Leith Agency's Gerry Farrell set to chair Cream Midlands and Cream Yorkshire judging panels

Gerry Farrell, creative director for The Leith Agency is to be chairman of this year’s judging panel for the Cream Midlands and Cream Yorkshire awards.

Farrell has worked with brands such as First Great Western Railways, The Scottish Government, IRN-BRU, VisitScotland and Aldi during his time at the agency, and has previously judged for Cannes Lions and D&AD.

He will be joined on the panel by a host of creative talent including; Lucy Richards from Studio LR, Iain Valentine from Whitespace, Kevin Bird from Family, Malcolm Stewart from Tayburn, Nick Darken from Albion, Steve Anderson from Smith & Milton, Stuart Gilmore from Stand and Pete Armstrong, previously at Iris.

The Cream Midlands and Cream Yorkshire Awards aim to celebrate the best creative advertising work for both regions, with categories including Best Packaging Design, Best Outdoor Campaign, Best TV/Cinema campaign and Best Corporate Design.

The awards, sponsored this year by recruitment company PITCH, will take place in the Jam House in Birmingham in November, with a date still to be confirmed.

Deadline for entries to both awards will fall on 27 July, with more information available through the awards website or email nikki.gillies@thedrum.com
