Speaking after The Drum's forum discussion the Leveson Inquiry's impact on Scottish media, Atholl Duncan, executive director UK for ICAS and former BBC Scotland head of news spoke to The Drum about his belief that journalism must become more professional.

Having working for over a year in the chartered accountant sector, having departed BBC Scotland last year, Duncan explains his reasoning as to why journalists should look upon their work with more professionalism, in a bid to maintain high standards of reporting.
