Furness College has undergone an extensive rebranding process in conjunction with digital agency, and long-time collaborators, Motionlab.

The rebrand coincides with the college’s new multi-million pound, state-of-the-art college build and hopes that the new corporate identity will appeal to their target audience, i.e. potential students. Furness College, the largest provider of education and training in South Cumbria, has enjoyed a successful working relationship with Motionlab for over seven years.

New brand guidelines have been rolled across Furness College’s entire suite of marketing collateral including course guides, posters and signage. The Furness College website has also been brought in line with the rebrand.

A series of eye catching custom wall graphics, which feature floor to ceiling pixelated images, have been created for the key spaces within the building and the website has been simplified as well as undergoing a fresh and contemporary redesign.

Gail Sheldrick, marketing manager at Furness College, praised Motionlab’s latest collaboration with the college, by saying: “Their [Motionlab] designs and concepts have always been refreshing and contemporary and received great feedback from our learners.”

Montionlab will work closely with Furness for the rest of the year to develop the newly branded materials and web content. Motionlab have also rebranded the college’s social media channels to keep people up-to-date on college news and events.

Sheldrick continued: “We have always been impressed with their enthusiasm for our organisation and their understanding of who we are and what we want to say to our clients”.
