Carpet care company Rug Doctor has unveiled a national ad campaign, created by Sightline, following a pilot campaign in Yorkshire.

The ad will run from today until 29 July on ITV1 Granada, Yorkshire, Scotland, West and Wales.

Paul Fildes, marketing manager at Rug Doctor, said: “As a business, Rug Doctor is bucking the trend and we are in a fortunate position to be able to invest in marketing activity. Our TV advertising campaign is part of a holistic marketing approach which is designed to elevate the brand’s status and bring Rug Doctor to the front of consumers’ minds.

“Our pilot advertising campaign in Yorkshire exceeded all expectations and increased our rentals by almost a fifth year-on-year in the region. We are confident that the ad campaign we are rolling out across other regions in the UK will at least match this success. So far, this year has been an exciting time for us and we’re positive that rentals and sales for the remainder of the year will continue to grow.”

Rug Doctor has also recently embarked on a national campaign with the ‘Queen of Clean’ Aggie MacKenzie to help promote ‘what lies beneath’ the carpet if it is not cleaned regularly.
