Branding and communications agency Creative Leap has announced the appointment of Tim Brooks, former GlaxoSmithKline consumer healthcare marketing director, as non-executive director.

Brooks, who was at GlaxoSmithKline for 11 years, will have ‘hands on’ responsibilities for strategy development as well as supporting specific client relationships and projects.

He said: “I have known Creative Leap since its birth – they do some fabulous work – and I look forward to contributing to their future success. Clients face huge challenges as they seek sustainable growth and differentiation and we all share a view about how to put this – rather than typical agency rhetoric - at the heart of our approach.”

David Gray, CEO of Creative Leap, said: “We have known Tim for a long time and we feel that his commercial input and extensive marketing and healthcare experience will help to take the business forward particularly within our health and wellbeing practice areas. This is one of a number of steps we are undertaking to enhance our ability to add value to our clients.”
