Spil Games launches multi-layered campaign for Ice Age 4: Continental Drift

Spil Games has announced its latest online campaign to promote Ice Age 4: Continental Drift across its three UK sites from June 27 to July 10.

James Males, managing director, Spil Games UK, commented, “We’ve worked closely with 20th Century Fox to design a bespoke campaign for Ice Age 4: Continental Drift to raise awareness of the film ahead of the UK premiere on July 13.”

With over 180 million monthly unique visitors on its three properties, GirlsgoGames, Agame.com and Games.co.uk, the campaign consists of a fully branded advergame for Ice Age 4: Continental Drift entitled ‘Acorns Ahoy’, integrated MPUs, editorial promotion, avatar sponsorship including notifications and promotional alerts to registered users, and advergame seeding.

Males added, “Using a variety of creative methods, we wanted to encourage further engagement with the characters and storylines of Ice Age 4 to drive consumer awareness in advance of the nationwide release.”
