American snack brand Penn State has announced that it has agreed a 12 month sponsorship with Sing-a-Long-a-Grease.
The show features the movie being shown, but with an additional sing-a-long element and compere.
Company branding will feature online and in printed literature as part of the deal, which will run until the end of next May.
David Wilson Intersnack’s head of marketing, said: “As a fun loving brand that is inspired by the American classics we really want to get the party started and feel that an association with Sing-a-Long-a-Grease is ideal. What better way to let your hair down than with a night out with friends singing, laughing, watching a classic film and enjoying some delicious snacks?
“The fact that people can get involved with the event really appealed to us. Penn State is about doing things the American way – bigger and better, and what greater association is there than with the infamous Grease! We are really looking forward to dusting off our T-Bird jackets and having some fun.”
The sponsorship deal will also include sampling, advertising and media engagement.
