Netbooster wins YMCA online display brief and expands UK team with new appointments

The YMCA has appointed digitally focused marketing and technology agency NetBooster to manage the online display activity of its ‘Roomsponsor’ campaign.

NetBooster will be working alongside the YMCA, and branding agency Bluefrog, on the campaign aimed at securing donations of £12 per month to support the YMCA’s work providing young people with a home, hot meals, counselling, education and training.

NetBooster will be utilising Google’s industry leading Invite Media bid management platform to identify and target the most relevant and ready to donate web users, all the while providing full transparency into bidding and the payment process.

Tim Cross, display director, NetBooster commented, “Recent advancements in the display advertising market have provided agencies with the tools and technologies to deliver highly targeted ad campaigns, which draw on behavioural data gathered from numerous digital touch points.

“Today’s online display campaigns are much more effective and efficient than before, which is great for all advertisers, especially charities which really need make their limited marketing budgets work hard.”

Along with this new campaign NetBooster has also announced the appointment of Jon Cross as display manager and Michelle Rando as affiliate manager.

The appointments of Cross and Rando were seen as necessary to support the company’s rapid growing UK display operation. Cross joins NetBooster from Global Radio where he was responsible for managing digital display campaigns across the websites of commercial radio brands including capitalfm.com and heart.co.uk.

Rando comes from fashion retailer All Saints where she held the position of digital communications manager, her role will be to help build and expand the company’s affiliate service which is provided through its strategic partnership with TradeDoubler.

Speaking of the new appointments, Cross continued, “I’m delighted to be able to welcome Jon and Michelle to our rapidly expanding UK team. Both individuals have the kind of calibre and expertise which I’m sure will help to strengthen the quality of our display and affiliate operations respectively.”
