Bio Green Dairy, a Middlesex based yoghurt producer, has unveiled new branding and packaging designs created by the design agency carter Wong.

Embracing a multi-cultural ethos Bio Green Dairy has introduced the exotic Asian fruit Lassis to its range – including mango, passion fruit and lychee versions.

All three have been developed by Daksha Kumar, who is most famous for bringing authentic Indian home cooking to Tesco.

Celebrating this mish-mash of cultures Carter Wong have combined eastern and western influences in their designs; including Bollywood inspired colourful foiled discs and traditional Indian henna motifs.

A revitalised ‘Edna’ cow acts as the centrepiece of the design, an illustrated bovine which now takes pride of place above the brand name.

Carter Wong’s Creative Director Phil Carter explained: “Bio Green Dairy needed branding and packaging that would allow its authentic yogurt products to compete in the mainstream yet sustain their popularity in various niche markets.

“The brand identity has had an injection of energy that creates a highly visible marketing platform for the Bio Green Dairy, with products that stand out asdistinctive beverages that are accessible to everyone.”

Nir Sapir, MD of Bio Green Dairy, added, “Our products are purchased by Asian and Middle Eastern families who identify them as familiar staples, part of their everyday experience. But we also want to be the first choice for general consumers who see real fruit yoghurts as a healthy lifestyle essential for themselves and their families and young adults looking to progress from flavoured milks.”
