Nissan has unveiled a print ad, created by TBWA\London, in order to promote its partnership with Warner Bros for The Dark Knight Rises.

Gabriel Hardman, storyboard artist for The Dark Knight Rises, created the ad, which features a custom-designed drawing of Batman’s silhouette with the Nissan Juke standing in for the face.

The ad uses Blippar technology to provide an augmented reality experience for iPhone and Android users, in which the Batman figure turn into bats and scatter across the screen before taking the shape of the Nissan Juke.

Chris Spenceley, brand leader at TBWA\London, said: “Batman is one of the most iconic fictional characters of all time and therefore was the perfect partner for the Juke Built to Thrill campaign we developed. We are constantly looking to bring innovative and experiential experiences through partnerships.”
