Gatwick Express has released a number of musical compositions which aims to create a soundtrack to its passengers journeys.

Created by VCCP in partnership with Sony Music and Faber Music, The ‘Express Tracks’ offer will see customers able to choose original music scored by classical composer Phillip Sheppard, dubstep producer Benga and modern rhythm and blues band The Milk, to listen to on their journey.

The artists will compose on the train, and also project films of the moving view out of the train window within their studios to inspire them.

Promoting the campaign, activity will include four seeded films and interviews, digital, press and out-of-home.

David Metherell, senior marketing manager at Gatwick Express said; “Gatwick Express is committed to enhancing our 30 minute journey and creating the best experience for our customers. Express Tracks is the world's first collection of music created to accompany a train journey and thanks to VCCP and the artists' superb compositions, Gatwick Express is the most exciting way to travel to the airport. As a premium air-rail service we are excited by ideas that invest value in the customer experience – whilst being relevant to the journey itself – and Express Tracks certainly has that.”
