Glasgow 2014 has appointed Blonde Digital to build a new public facing website to engage with the public both in Scotland and throughout the Commonwealth.
The new site is intended to raise the profile of the Games which will be more ‘dynamic’ and feature an enhanced content management system, over its predecessor.
It will also allow Glasgow 2014 to interact and transact with browsers, such as sourcing volunteers and facilitating purchase of tickets and merchandise.
Blonde will work with Glasgow 2014’s in-house media team to host content on a range of dedicated microsites.
The total contract value is £260k.
