CBS Outdoor UK and Lloyds TSB take over Stratford station for the 2012 Games in advertising first

CBS Outdoor UK has launched a new campaign in partnership with Lloyds TSB which sees the bank ‘wrap’ the entire front of Stratford station for the duration on the London 2012 OIympic Games and Paralympic Games – a UK first.

The campaign, to run until September 16 2012, continues Lloyds TSB’s long running ‘For the Journey’ adverts though specially adapted for the Games.

In addition, the campaign also sees a selection of sporting equipment placed at key vantage points throughout the station. These include a trampoline, a table tennis table, an archery target and full size volleyball net amongst others.

Jason Cotterrell, country director at CBS Outdoor UK, comments, “This campaign really showcases the enormous potential of the ‘wrap’ format…The positioning couldn’t be better for Lloyds TSB as a tier one sponsor of the London 2012 Games, as Stratford station will act as the gateway to the Olympic Park. Seven out of the ten million visitors attending will pass through the station, so the exposure will be immense.”
