Revive MS Support announced as the winner of The Drum and Mercurytide £10k charity website competition

The Drum can reveal the winner of its charity website competition, organised in partnership with web design and development company Mercurytide.

Revive MS Support, a Glasgow-based charity providing support for people living with multiple sclerosis, has won the competition, which received 400 nominations for over 150 UK charities.

The judging panel, which included Fiona Ballantyne, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and Mercurytide founder Tamlin Roberts, chose Revive MS Support from a shortlist of 23 finalists.

As the winning charity, Revive MS Support will receive a new website, worth £10,000, developed by Edinburgh-based Mercurytide. The agency will also provide the charity will all the digital support needed to make its brand work online.

Cara Doran, fundraising manager at Revive MS Support, said: “The staff and trustees at Revive MS Support are over the moon to have won the Mercurytide £10,000 Charity Website competition. We were jumping about the offi ce in celebration when we heard the good news! This will make a massive difference to how we communicate with our clients and supporters online, and make it much easier for people to engage with our services and fundraising events.”

Mercurytide MD Tamlin Roberts commented: “I was struck by how individual in nature MS is, how it affects different people in different ways and how Revive MS Support have dedicated their efforts to assisting MS sufferers with getting the most from life. I am really pleased that such a worthy cause has won our competition and we can now be a small part of the great work that they do.”

Mercurytide has begun assessing requirements from the charity, with development due to start imminently.
