Cookery show Sicily with Aldo and Enzo, funded by the Sicilian Tourist Board is set to start next month after UM London brokered a deal with UKTV’s Good Food channel and Red Door Productions.

The series follows Italian and Sicilian chefs Aldo Zilli and Enzo Oliveria as they travel to 10 unique locations across the island.

Sally Quick, director of commercial partnerships at UKTV, said: “This project has been four years in the making, but we are pleased with the end result – delicious food shot in amazing surroundings. We expect our viewers to be delighted with Aldo and Enzo’s brilliant recipes and insight into Sicily’s rich food heritage.”

Phil Cresswell, activation director at UM London, added: “There’s no better way to showcase the beauty and cultural heritage of Sicily, than through its unique cuisine, so we’re confident this series will be of great value to Sicilian tourism. We’re delighted to be working with UKTV and Red Door Productions, re-enforcing UM London’s on-going ability to deliver in the field of Ad-Funded Programming.”
