Barnsley agencies DM²Creative and Pixel One have merged to form a new marketing agency dubbed DMSQUARED.

The new outfit says it will provide all services in-house including web design and development, photography, graphic design and illustration, search engine marketing, social media marketing and a printing service.

Mark Asquith, Marc Wilmot and Don Gent of DM²Creative become marketing director, digital art director and production director respectively, while Kyle Wilkinson and Daniel Maw of Pixel One take the positions of creative director and development director.

Asquith said: "When we met the guys from Pixel One, we were blown away by the quality of their designs and their creativity. They’re in their twenties and only started Pixel One last year yet they’ve already produced some phenomenal work."

Wilkinson added: "As a relatively new company, this merger offered an amazing opportunity to be part of something much bigger, together with the benefits of being part of a more experienced team.”

The agency's client list includes Sash UK, Barnsley College, Wentworth Castle Gardens, Startup Barnsley, BBIC and the Think Low Carbon initiative.
