Detangling hairbrush brand Tangle Teezer has partnered with Aardman to increase brand awareness, with an on-pack Shaun the Sheep promotion and game set to launch.
In the Beauty Baahn game, Shaun sets up a hair salon in his barn, with the sheep shearing, dying, clipping and Tangle Teezing the fleece of his customers in order to win points.
Shaun P, inventor of the Tangle Teezer, said: “I never thought my salon experiences would end up as an Aardman Digital game. I’ve always been a huge admirer of Aardman, and to work with them creatively has been amazing. Collaborating with them has been a unique and innovative way to market Tangle Teezer globally. There’s a strong business bond between both companies. We’re both called Shaun! We’re both award winning and both proud to be selling British creativity.”
As well as the game, which was created in conjunction by the Aardman team and the creative team at Tangle Teezer, an on-pack promotion offers consumers the chance to win a £500 holiday with Farm Stay UK.
A collectable Shaun the Sheep compact styler will be available as a runner-up prize, as well as being available to buy on the official website for both companies.
Jemma Kamara, web producer at Aardman, said: “We’ve had a lot of fun working with Tangle Teezer on the game which takes the brand in an interesting new direction whilst still retaining its core value. It was important to us that we maintained the high quality animation and gameplay that Aardman is renowned for, whilst introducing a fresh new game format for the brand that we think consumers will really enjoy.”
