Matalan launches ‘fly away’ campaign with The if agency

Matalan has launched a cardholder competition with The if agency which will see a customer win a pair of return flights with Monarch every day.

The promotion will give a total of 60 people the chance to escape the UK, with winners being announced weekly on Twitter, Facebook and through the website.

Christian James, managing director at The if agency, said: “The aim of this promotion was to give a bit of summer happiness to Matalan’s reward card customers. We all love a summer holiday but many people can’t afford to get away so we hope to make a few dreams come true this year.”

Matalan has also launched a supporting blog where shoppers can get inspiration about where to go as well as links to suggested products to buy.

Suzanne Cleary, marketing manager at Matalan, said: “We’re really excited about this promotion and it’s fantastic that we have a winner every single day. Most of us work really hard and that annual get away means a lot so we’re delighted to be offering the prize to so many people.”
