Domino’s Pizza to deliver Summer of Football marketing campaign

Domino’s Pizza has announced it is to partner with Squawka, the second screen web app, to deliver a Summer of Football marketing campaign.

Intended to provide the most detailed stats ever used in sport for consumers the Squawka web app will carry interactive Domino’s branding during live games to promote the chains home delivery service.

These will inform fans 15 min into a match that if they place their order now their pizza could be ready for half time.

The partnership will go live at the same time as Squawka’s launch this Friday.

Sanjit Atwal, co-founder of Squawka had the following to say,“It’s great for a brand new UK start-up like Squawka to be working with such well known brand as Domino’s. We really feel we can drive user engagement by tailoring our unique second-screen advertising in time for all the football action.

”Being able to know what the user is watching enables us to prompt a pizza purchase at the right moments for half time/full time.”
