AKQA has announced that the German branch of Miami Ad School Europe, based in Hamburg, has this year been named as Future Lions School of the Year.

It is the second consecutive year that the creative has been given the honour, established as a means of challenging students to advertise a global brand in a way that would not have been possible five years ago.

This year the competition ran with the theme of “Answer the Call”

AKQA Chief Creative Officer Rei Inamoto commented, “Miami Ad School Europe in Hamburg showed not only the most entries, but some of the most forward-thinking ideas that will influence the future.”

Niklas Frings-Rupp, Managing Director of Miami Ad School Europe in Hamburg comments: “Hardly any other competition puts a school and its programme to the test in such a way, demanding innovative, state-of-the-art ideas.”

Teressa Iezzi, Senior Editor of Fast Company’s Co.Create will present the trophy after signing up as the competitions official media partner.
