This is crazy: Barack Obama sings Call Me Maybe? This is crazy: Barack Obama sings Call Me Maybe?

NASA has topped this week's Viral Video Chart after wowing the world with stunning high-definition footage of Venus's once in a lifetime transit across the face of the sun.

Samsung takes second spot in the Brand Chart after unveiling its hotly-anticipated GALAXY S III and Guinness World Records comes in third with an attempt for the tightest parallel parking.

Topping the User Generated Content chart this week with a whopping six million views is Barack Obama singing Carly Rae Jepsen's monster hit 'Call Me Maybe?' thanks to some ingenious editing from barackdubs.

The charts are compiled with the Viral Ad Network.

How is Dead Space 3 with 40,000 views at number 9? Could it have something to do with the fact that it is actually seeded by The Viral Ad Network? Hmmm, possibly. I thought this was an accurate chart not some advertorial.

Hi lxmic46570,

We actually compile the charts based on Facebook & Twitter shares rather than amount of views, as we find this is generally a better way to measure the viral effect. You can view the sharing stats on the right-hand side of the chart.

The Dead Space 3 video is not actually a campaign that we have been working with, however if in the future we do include any videos that we have worked with then it will only be because they have earned a place on the chart due to the amount of times they have been shared.
