Rileys pool and snooker club chain has released a 75-second sting video to promote its clubs as a destination to watch the FIFA European 2012 championsips.

The chain has worked with creative strategists and sports design specialists Deep Red Creative for two years designing its external and internal signage, to help boost the membership of its 120 pool, snooker and darts clubs.

As well as the 75-second sting, shorter edits have also been created for summer sport, the Olympics and new football season.

The Euro 2012 campaign stars football pundit and former England striker Stan Collymore talking about the tournament and introducing the ‘Rileys’ Fanzones’.

Collymore gives his “View from the Stan” via a blog on the Rileys website, alongside visibility of Rileys VIP offers. The campaign has also included freshly designed web pages, leaflets and posters; all produced by Deep Red Creative specifically for Rileys sports bars.

Don Mammatt, creative director at Deep Red Creative, has said: “We have worked with Rileys for a number of years but this was the first time we had used video as part of a campaign for them. I believe it complements what we have already being trying to achieve in reaching existing and potential Rileys customers, especially with the regard to big screen sport in the clubs.”

Mammatt added: “Rileys and Deep Red Creative have really tried to tap into what is important to a football fan and we have used imagery that we feel will make them want to watch Euro 2012 in one of the clubs and to enjoy the rest of the facilities they have to offer while they are there.”
