Carling drinks to brutishness with ‘Brilliantly British. Brilliantly Refreshing’ campaign

Carling has unveiled its summer promotional campaign, as it positions itself to slake the thirst of thousands of Olympics 2012 goers.

Teaming up with design consultancy Echo they have designed a new Union Jack themed visualisation which will adorn limited edition retail packs of 10,12 and 20 Carling cans.

The patriotic packaging will be promoted across outdoor, press and TV.

In addition Echo have also designed an exclusive pack for Sainsbury’s, featuring a moody, monochrome interpretation of the flag superimposed with refreshing droplets.

Michelle McQuillin, Carling Brand Manager said: “We are really excited about the new design delivered by Echo – it perfectly captures the essence of Carling as a proud and perfect refreshment with which to celebrate a truly memorable summer in Great Britain.”
