VCCP picks up BetVictor account as its new Laithwaites Wine branding is released

BetVictor account has been handed to VCCP following a four-way-pitch, while the agency has also seen its branding for Laithwaite’s Wine go live for the first time.

The London-creative agency was appointed to the BetVictor account following the pitch process managed by Oystercatchers, replacing incumbent Home.

BetVictor rebranded from Victor Chandler across its European operations in January.

Meanwhile, the branding for Laithwaite’s Wine, for which VCCP picked up the advertising account earlier this year, was revealed after the announcement of the brand as Official Partner of the England Cricket Team (see gallery.)

The two-year sponsorship deal will see the brand promote its wines at all England international matches at home, as well as during the next Ashes series.

Alongside the new logo and advertising, VCCP has also developed a new look and feel for the brand which is scheduled to roll out over the coming months and used across all marketing materials, in-store and online.

Glenn Caton, managing director of Laithwaite’s Wine, commented: “We’re aiming to make our brand more friendly, entertaining and accommodating while remaining an accessible and personal guide to the often-confusing world of wine.”
