Scottish daily deal company Itison is to releases its latest TV advertising campaign today, having seen a survey name the company as the most trusted daily deal site north of the border.

The new campaign, which will run across STV, has been developed in-house and produced in collaboration with UpUp Design.

Meanwhile, a survey of over 7, 474 Scots, carried out by Progressive, has apparently seen the service named as their most popular, ahead of rivals LivingSocial and GroupOn.

Oli Norman, founder of itison.com said: “Having closely watched the development of Groupon and Livingsocial in Scotland it was clear there was a real gap in the market for a daily deals company that focused on quality and service and not just driving sales. It is with real team pride that a home-grown company has taken the Number 1 spot in arguably the web’s most competitive consumer model in years.

“We’ve built a company based on integrity, innovation and local talent. We’re now focused on growth and developing our product into new markets.”

The first year of trading saw itison deliver a turnover of £3.4m, while it claims to now be on track to grow that to £10m having spread across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen.
