magneticNorth designs Olympics mobile site for BBC Sport

BBC Sport has worked with Manchester agency magneticNorth to design its 2012 Olympics website for mobile devices.

The site contains huge volumes of Olympic content and during the Games it will offer mobile users live video streaming, text commentary, schedule information and results.

Adam Todd, creative director at magneticNorth, said: "Working on a such a key project for the host nation’s official broadcaster has been a great one for the team to be involved in.

"The challenge was to create a best in class mobile experience that could be navigated and enjoyed easily by a broad audience of sports lovers whether they were at work, home or on the move."

The site has been designed to work on both smartphones and feature phones.
