MARC&ANNA has designed the promotional materials for the British Heart Foundation's star-studded fundraising event Tunnel of Love.

The agency was asked to design a campaign look to be applied across a save the date card, invitation, tickets and a programme/auction booklet. The look and feel will also be carried through the styling of the event itself.

As this year's theme is the 1920s, MARC&ANNA took inspiration from Art Deco patterns and display fonts of the era and used a limited palette of British Heart Foundation red, black and Pantone gold to create a distinctive look across all the materials.

Karen Bearman, the charity's event manager, said: "We gave MARC&ANNA a difficult brief of opposing objectives: sophisticated, but fun; 20s, but modern; lots of copy, but clean and clear!

"They ticked all our boxes and more, the result being a beautiful, contemporary set of materials."

The Tunnel of Love fundraising party takes place next Tuesday and features an auction with lots donated by Damien Hirst, Sir Peter Blake and Dan Baldwin among others.
