The giant American Raytheon company is inviting 50 of its Twitter followers to a day of activities at the Farnborough International Air show on July 13.

Online registration will remain open from now until noon on Friday. YOU can be there!

The lucky 50 will watch the air show from Raytheon's viewing platform at the show - the highlight of the year for companies in the aerospace, defence , space and security industries. The Tweeters will also watch student rocketeers from France, the UK and the US participate in the fifth annual Transatlantic Rocketry Challenge.

"Farnborough is one of the most thrilling events in aviation," said Pam Wickham, Raytheon vice president of Corporate Affairs . "This year, we're inviting aviation enthusiasts to share in the excitement."
Raytheon will allow Tweetup registrants to sign up with a young guest aged 11-21.

"What better way to encourage these young future engineers than by giving them the thrill of a lifetime at the airshow?" Wickham said.

For Tweetup registration and information, visit:http://www.raytheon.com/newsroom/feature/rtn12_fiatweetup.

If you are selected , you'll have to make your own way to London. Raytheon will take it from there.

Anyone can follow along with all the activities using the hashtag #meetRay and following @Raytheon and @MathMovesU. The Farnborough Airshow account is @Farnborough2012, and hashtags for the show are #FIA12 and #FuturesDay.
