Art director Paul Kinsella has left CheethamBell JWT to join rival Manchester ad agency BJL.

Kinsella makes the switch across Quay Street after nine years at CheethamBell, where he worked on clients including Kellogg's, BMI Baby and Gamestation.

He said of his new role: "It’s time for a new challenge and BJL is producing the type of work I want to be involved with.

"Having previously worked with both creative directors, Tom Richards and Pete Bastiman, I know they can help me develop and push my career forward – the agency is hungry for success and I want to be part of it.”

Richards added: "I worked with Paul at the start of his career, he was a ball of energy and full of ideas then and nothing’s changed. We can’t wait to release him on our accounts.”

Kinsella will work with senior copywriter Carla Hawkins across all the agency's clients.
