Marketing agency The Raft merges with Cirrus

Cheshire marcomms agency The Raft has merged with Cirrus, a company which provides high-end training programmes in leadership and employee engagement.

In a statement Cirrus said the merger would enable it 'to offer a unique combination of services which connect leaders, employees and customers to organisational strategy and values through leadership, employee engagement, and branding and communications programmes'.

The two companies had already been working together on projects for clients including Asda and HSBC.

Carol Smith, managing director at The Raft, said: "The new world of brands is shaped by people and behaviour as much as product, so merging with Cirrus is a really great opportunity.

"We believe that our capability in branding and communications, combined with expertise of Cirrus in developing leaders and engaging people, can really help clients make critical connections between leaders, employees and customers. And now that we’re all together under one roof, we can work even more effectively together."
