FX has announced that Joop! Homme will continue to sponsor the UK channel’s drama content.

The sponsorship will run for 12 months, up from the previous nine month agreement, across 200 hours of drama content per month, including shows such as Dexter. True Blood and The Walking Dead, as well as the new series of Falling Skies, which starts in July.

John Scurfield, associate sponsorship and promotions director at OMD UK, said: “Joop! Homme is benefiting from the strong performance of the long-running FX Drama sponsorship strand. The varied schedule of hard hitting drama programming ensures differentiation from the rest of the fragrance market, and builds a strong association with the brand new drama series’ on FXUK.”

Armelle Poole-Connor, senior brand manager at Coty Prestige, added: “We are delighted to renew our Joop! Homme partnership with FXUK and continue building a strong link between these two brands. Joop! Homme fragrance is a long-lasting British success since its launch in 1989 and its provocative campaign and distinctive pink bottle give it great stand out with the FXUK audience.”

The six-figure deal was brokered by Wesleigh Lewis from Sky Media, John Scurfield from OMD and Sophie Thompson at Fox One Stop Media.
