Tesco is today launching its month-long Clubcard Exchange, where customers can turn £5 of Clubcard vouchers into a £10 Exchange token, with an advertising campaign to run until Friday.

A TV and radio campaign, created by The Red Brick Road, will launch today and run until Friday, promoting how the scheme works.

The ad shows a young boy doing lots of different chores around the house to earn his pocket money, but asks for the £5 Clubcard voucher on the fridge when he is finished instead of £5 – so he can turn it into a £10 token to buy his favourite toy at Tesco.

Janet Smith, Tesco Clubcard director, said: "The Clubcard Exchange is incredibly popular with our customers. By increasing the value of Clubcard vouchers, it makes a real difference and makes budgets go further by offering huge savings on a fantastic range of products.

"We’re really pleased that for this Exchange we can help customers with their preparations for the many summer celebrations that are coming up."
