WWE has agreed a two-year online advertising sales agreement with ad technology company Collective.

The deal will see Collective handle all WWE.com display and video pre-roll inventory advertising for the UK market.

This is the wrestling giant's largest international outdoor advertising sales agreement and ties in with the recent relaunch of WWE.com.

The site currently generates around 69m display ads and 1.5m video impressions per mouth. Collective will push the display and pre-roll advertising for the UK and potential third-parties.

James McEvoy, director of media distribution at WWE, said: "WWE’s digital strategy is multi-faceted with the aim to make the the most engaging digital experience possible, across all platforms.

"Now our role, with Collective on board, is to grow our digital business and to keep providing our fans with that compelling and engaging content.”

The contract commences on 1 June.
